Alien: Isolation 2
PC hardware build guide for Alien: Isolation 2 — recession, budget, mid-range, and high-end rigs for Creative Assembly's survival horror sequel. Specs estimated; the game is in early development.
Predicted System Requirements Predicted
Estimate as of June 2026 — official requirements not yet published.
| Minimum | Recommended | |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10 64-bit | Windows 11 64-bit |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-10400 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600 | Intel Core i5-13400 / AMD Ryzen 5 7600 |
| GPU | NVIDIA RTX 2060 / AMD RX 5600 XT | NVIDIA RTX 4060 / AMD RX 7700 XT |
| RAM | 16 GB | 16 GB |
| Storage | ~70 GB SSD | ~70 GB SSD |
Why these numbers
Only the OS is officially published (Windows 10 minimum, Windows 11 recommended); everything else is estimated for a modern AAA survival-horror title. Announced at Summer Game Fest (June 5, 2026) and confirmed in early development by creative director Al Hope, with the engine unconfirmed — so these carry LOW confidence and are placeholders until Creative Assembly / SEGA publish a real sheet.
Recommended Builds
Low-confidence estimate — only the OS requirement is official. The Arc A580 should clear a modern-horror minimum at 1080p with XeSS, but the engine is unconfirmed. Revisit when Creative Assembly publishes real specs.

What to Upgrade First
Alien: Isolation 2 was announced at Summer Game Fest 2026, and the honest position on hardware is that it’s too early to give a real one. Creative director Al Hope confirmed the game is in early development, there’s no release date — outside estimates put it at 2027 at the earliest — and the Steam page, while live, lists only the operating system: Windows 10 for the minimum and Windows 11 for the recommended tier. No CPU, no GPU, no RAM, no storage. The engine hasn’t been announced either, so even the usual “it’s UE5, plan accordingly” shortcut isn’t available.
That means everything below the OS line on this page is an estimate, scaled to a modern AAA survival-horror title and carrying low confidence. These figures will be replaced the moment Creative Assembly publishes a real sheet. What’s worth saying now is structural: the original Alien: Isolation was famously light — it ran on almost anything — but a 2027 sequel built for current consoles will not inherit that. Expect a floor around an RTX 2060-class card and a recommended tier in the RTX 4060 range, which is where comparable horror releases have landed.
Against those placeholders, every tier on this site has room to spare, and the build choice will come down to your target resolution rather than clearing a tight minimum. The practical advice for now is simply not to buy ahead for this game specifically — it’s far enough out that today’s component prices and today’s GPU lineup will both have moved by launch. When the spec sheet lands, the weekly spec monitoring sweep will catch it and this page goes live with real numbers.
