Recession Build — June 2026
~$9201080p / Low-Medium / 30-60 FPS (Arc A580 meets minimum GTX 1660 tier with XeSS)
The Arc A580 is named in Black Flag Resynced's minimum, so the Recession build meets the floor exactly — expect a Low preset with XeSS holding 1080p, frames swinging 30-60 in dense Caribbean ports. Playable, but this is the one tier where you feel the minimum.

| Storage | Patriot P300 256GB NVMe SSD | $53 | $53 at Amazon |
The RTX 5060 lands well past the recommended RTX 3060, so 1080p High runs native at a locked 60. For a remastered open-world Ubisoft title, this is the comfortable buy.

The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB exceeds Ubisoft's High tier of an RTX 3080, carrying 1440p High-Ultra at 60 with the VRAM a remaster's higher-res textures demand. 32 GB RAM is headroom.

High-End Build — June 2026
~$22014K / Ultra / 60 FPS (official Ultra tier needs RTX 4090; RTX 5070 matches with DLSS)
The RTX 5070 matches the game's official Ultra tier — an RTX 4090 — once DLSS is in play, holding 4K Ultra at 60. The 9800X3D removes any CPU ceiling on the open world's crowd simulation.

The RTX 5090 obliterates the official Ultra tier's RTX 4090, running native 4K Ultra with full ray tracing past 120. Nothing in Black Flag Resynced makes this card work.

What to Upgrade First
Black Flag Resynced is rebuilt from scratch on the latest Anvil Engine with ray-traced global illumination and reflections. The GPU requirements scale steeply: the minimum asks for a GTX 1660 at 1080p Low/30 FPS, but 4K Ultra at 60 FPS demands an RTX 4090. Your graphics card is the bottleneck.
If you already have a PC, prioritize your GPU. The jump from a GTX 1660 (official minimum) to an RTX 5060 skips past the recommended tier entirely and lands you at 1080p High with headroom to spare. DLSS 4.5 and FSR 4 are both supported at launch, extending every GPU’s effective reach by roughly one resolution tier.
The CPU requirements are modest by 2026 standards. A Ryzen 5 3600 appears in both the minimum and recommended tiers. Our budget build’s Ryzen 5 7600 is well beyond what the game needs — you won’t be CPU-bottlenecked.
16 GB RAM is the official requirement at every tier. The game doesn’t need 32 GB, but if you run Discord and a browser alongside it, the extra headroom from 32 GB prevents background-app stutters.
An SSD is mandatory — the game won’t install on an HDD. At 65 GB, it’s a moderate install that fits comfortably on a 1 TB drive alongside other games.
Ubisoft published three official tiers: Minimum (1080p/30, GTX 1660-class), Recommended (1080p/60, RTX 3060-class), and an Extreme preset for 4K/60 that asks for a Ryzen 7 5700X3D or Core i7-12700K paired with an RTX 4090 or RX 7900 XTX. Our mid-range build’s RTX 5060 Ti 16GB sits well clear of the Recommended tier and pushes into 1440p High, with the 16 GB VRAM giving headroom for the remake’s high-resolution textures. For the 4K Extreme target, the high-end build’s RTX 5070 with DLSS Quality matches the official RTX 4090 bar.
