Recommended Builds
Konami's minimum is an RTX 2060 Super, and the Arc A580 lands a step under it, so 1080p Low at 30 with XeSS is the honest target — the floor Konami designed around. The 16 GB RAM meets the minimum but is half the recommended 32 GB, and the 75 GB install takes a big bite out of the Recession tier's 256 GB drive.
| Component | Part | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Case | Thermaltake S100 TG | $70 | $70 at Newegg |
| CPU | AMD Ryzen 5 7500F | $175 | $175 at Amazon |
| GPU | Intel Arc A580 8GB | $185 | $185 at Amazon |
| Motherboard | Gigabyte B650M DS3H | $130 | $130 at Amazon |
| PSU | Corsair RM750e 750W 80+ Gold | $72 | $72 at Amazon |
| RAM | G.Skill Flare X5 16GB DDR5-6000 (2x8GB) | $235 | $235 at Newegg |
| Storage | Patriot P300 256GB NVMe SSD | $53 | $53 at Amazon |
The RTX 5060 sits between the minimum and the recommended RTX 3080; DLSS 4.5 frame generation closes the gap to deliver 1080p High at 60. The catch is RAM — the recommended spec asks for 32 GB and this tier ships 16 GB, fine at Low/Medium but the first thing to top up if you push presets.

| Case | Thermaltake S100 TG | $70 | $70 at Newegg |
| CPU | AMD Ryzen 5 7600 | $175 | $175 at Newegg |

| Storage | Kingston NV2 1TB NVMe SSD | $157 | $157 at Amazon |
The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB lands near the recommended RTX 3080, and DLSS Quality holds 1440p High at 60. Just as important, this tier brings 32 GB RAM — matching the recommended spec exactly, which Townfall leans on more than most horror games.

| Storage | Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe SSD | $235 | $235 at Newegg |
The RTX 5070 clears the recommended RTX 3080 outright and runs 1440p Ultra or 4K with DLSS. The 9800X3D removes any CPU question, and 32 GB RAM matches what Konami recommends. This is the tier where Townfall looks the way it was meant to.

| Storage | Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe SSD | $358 | $358 at Newegg |
The RTX 5090 runs native 4K Ultra well beyond Konami's 4K 30fps recommended target, and DLSS 4.5 pushes far past 120. Total overkill for a fixed-camera horror game — which is the point of this tier.

What to Upgrade First
Silent Hill: Townfall is GPU-led, and Konami’s recommended spec is steeper than the genre usually demands: an RTX 3080 paired with 32 GB of RAM to hit 4K 30 with upscaling. The minimum is more forgiving — an RTX 2060 Super for 1080p Low at 30 — but the gap between the two tiers is wide, so the graphics card is where your budget decides how the game looks.
The Budget tier’s RTX 5060 lands between the two spec lines and uses DLSS 4.5 frame generation to reach 1080p High at 60. The Mid tier’s RTX 5060 Ti meets the recommended RTX 3080 and steps up to 1440p. From the High tier’s RTX 5070 onward, the GPU is no longer the limiter at all.
The wrinkle is memory. Townfall’s recommended 32 GB RAM is unusually high for a horror title, and the Recession and Budget tiers ship 16 GB — enough for the minimum, but the first upgrade to make if you run recommended presets. The 32 GB arrives at the Mid tier and matches Konami’s spec from there up. The CPU is a non-issue: a Ryzen 5 3600 minimum and 5700X recommended are both lapped by every processor on this page. Plan for a 75 GB SSD install.
