| RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
| Storage | 50 GB | 50 GB |
Recommended Builds
Respawn's minimum lists the Arc B580; the Recession tier's Arc A580 sits a step under it, so 1080p Low at 30 is the honest target. The i5-8400 / Ryzen 5 2600X minimum CPU is lapped by the Ryzen 5 7500F here, and the 16 GB RAM meets the minimum — though it is half the recommended 32 GB.
| Component | Part | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Case | Thermaltake S100 TG | $70 | $70 at Newegg |
| CPU | AMD Ryzen 5 7500F | $175 | $175 at Amazon |
| GPU | Intel Arc A580 8GB | $185 | $185 at Amazon |
| Motherboard | Gigabyte B650M DS3H | $130 | $130 at Amazon |
| PSU | Corsair RM750e 750W 80+ Gold | $72 | $72 at Amazon |
| RAM | G.Skill Flare X5 16GB DDR5-6000 (2x8GB) | $235 | $235 at Newegg |
| Storage | Patriot P300 256GB NVMe SSD | $53 | $53 at Amazon |
The RTX 5060 sits comfortably between the GTX 1080 minimum and the recommended RTX 3080; DLSS 4.5 holds 1080p High at 60. As with most 2026 releases, RAM is the catch — the recommended spec asks for 32 GB and this tier ships 16 GB, fine for a turn-based tactics game but the first thing to top up.
| Component | Part | Price | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Case | Thermaltake S100 TG | $70 | $70 at Newegg |
| CPU | AMD Ryzen 5 7600 | $175 | $175 at Newegg |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 8GB | $350 | $350 at Amazon |
| Motherboard | ASRock B650M PG Riptide WiFi | $130 | $130 at Amazon |
| PSU | Corsair RM750e 750W 80+ Gold | $72 | $72 at Amazon |
| RAM | G.Skill Flare X5 16GB DDR5-6000 (2x8GB) | $235 | $235 at Newegg |
| Storage | Kingston NV2 1TB NVMe SSD | $157 | $157 at Amazon |
The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB lands near the recommended RTX 3080, and DLSS Quality holds 1440p High at 60. This tier also brings 32 GB RAM, matching the recommended spec exactly — and 1440p is the resolution Respawn targets with the recommended GPU.

| Case | Fractal Design Pop Mini Air | $100 | $100 at Amazon |
| CPU | AMD Ryzen 5 7600 | $175 | $175 at Newegg |

| Motherboard | MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WiFi | $176 | $176 at Amazon |
| PSU | Corsair RM750e 750W 80+ Gold | $72 | $72 at Amazon |
| RAM | G.Skill Flare X5 32GB DDR5-6000 (2x16GB) | $459 | $459 at Newegg |
| Storage | Samsung 990 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe SSD | $235 | $235 at Newegg |
The RTX 5070 clears the recommended RTX 3080 outright and runs 1440p Ultra or 4K with DLSS. The 9800X3D removes any CPU question, and 32 GB RAM matches the recommended spec. A turn-based tactics game rarely needs this much headroom, but it leaves nothing on the table.

| Cooler | Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 | $35 | $35 at Amazon |

| Storage | Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB NVMe SSD | $358 | $358 at Newegg |
The RTX 5090 runs native 4K Ultra far beyond the recommended 1440p 60 target, and DLSS 4.5 pushes past 120. Total overkill for a strategy game — which is the point of this tier.

What to Upgrade First
Star Wars Zero Company is Respawn’s turn-based tactics game, and its official spec sheet reads like a modern AAA action title even though the genre rarely punishes hardware the way a shooter or open-world RPG does. The recommended spec pairs an RTX 3080 with 32 GB of RAM to hit 1440p 60 at High — steep on paper, generous in practice for a game built around grid-based combat and a strategy layer rather than twitch rendering.
The graphics card is still where your budget decides the resolution. The minimum GTX 1080 (or Arc B580) targets 1080p Low at 30; the Recession tier’s Arc A580 lands right at that floor. The Budget tier’s RTX 5060 slots between the minimum and recommended lines and uses DLSS to reach 1080p High at 60. The Mid tier’s RTX 5060 Ti meets the recommended RTX 3080 and steps up to 1440p — the resolution Respawn designed the recommended tier around. From the High tier’s RTX 5070 onward, the GPU stops being the limiter.
The recurring wrinkle in 2026 builds is memory. Zero Company’s recommended 32 GB RAM is high for the genre, and the Recession and Budget tiers ship 16 GB — enough for the minimum, but the first upgrade to make if you run recommended presets. The 32 GB arrives at the Mid tier and holds from there up. The CPU is a non-issue: an i5-8400 / Ryzen 5 2600X minimum and i7-10700K / Ryzen 7 3700X recommended are both cleared by every processor on this page. Plan for a 50 GB SSD install.
